The Water Corporation's authorised contractor, Benang Energy Infrastructure have commenced work to replace  2.2 km of pipeline between the Pemble Street pump station, near Hassell Street, and Kojonup-Katanning Road. Works will be completed in stages over the next six to eight months, and will result in increased reliability of water supply in the area.

Who will be impacted and how?

• Properties on the southern side of Pemble Street will have reduced access to their verges and driveways, however, will be notified before any works impacting access begins.
• Road closures and local road detours will be required during this period.
• Residents may notice some increase in noise, dust, and activity in the area.
