NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF PROPERTY

In accordance with section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995.

Submissions now open

At the December 2025 meeting, the Council resolved to invite the public to purchase the Lot 448 Rogers Av (refer to the below figure).

• The Lot 448 is a narrow section of land owned by the Shire of Katanning.
• The Lot 448 and adjoining land fall under the ‘Residential’ zone classification.
• There is no recorded utility infrastructure located within the Lot 488.

Should the Shire agree to a purchase offer, the purchaser will be required to engage a settlement agent at their own cost. The settlement agent will be responsible for preparing the legal documentation outlining any conditions of sale.

An offer to purchase the subject Lot 448 Rogers Avenue may be submitted to the Shire of Katanning by email to admin@katanning.wa.gov.au or by post addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, PO Box 130, Katanning WA 6317, by no later than Monday, 16 February 2026.

All submissions must include the purchaser’s name, address, contact telephone number, proposed purchase price, and any conditions of purchase.

All submissions received may be made public at a Council meeting and included in a Council agenda published on the Shire’s website, unless a submission specifically requests otherwise.
