Public Notice: Closure of Gravel Roads to Heavy Vehicles
The Shire advises that all gravel roads are closed to vehicles exceeding 4.5 tonnes (including vehicles towing caravans) until further notice.

During periods of significant wet weather, it is necessary to restrict heavy vehicle access to gravel roads to protect the road network.
Wet gravel surfaces are highly susceptible to damage from heavy traffic, resulting in costly repairs and increased safety risks for other road users.
