PROPOSAL TO DISPOSE OF PROPERTY

The Shire of Katanning proposes to lease a 1.98ha portion of Lot 9000 Henry Street, Katanning to Ausgold Exploration Pty Ltd for a term of 3 years (plus a 1yr option) from 1 November 2026, for an initial annual rent of $10,000 ex GST.  The rent will be escalated by CPI, annually.

The market value of this disposition was assessed on 16 July 2025 and a rental value of $6,930 per annum plus GST was determined.

Members of the public who wish to submit a land use proposal & alternate rental payment in respect to this site are invited to make a submission.

The deadline for submissions is 4 pm (AWST), Tuesday, 19 May 2026.
