NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY UNDER SECTION 3.58 OF THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1995 (WA)

It is HEREBY NOTIFIED for public information and comment that the Shire of Katanning is intending to lease a portion of Reserve 52216 being the new Childcare Facility at 33 Daping Street, Katanning to The Gowrie (WA) Inc. to a operate childcare services.

The proposed term is for 10 years with a 5-year option. Consideration to be received is $167,500 plus GST per annum to be adjusted annually by Consumer Price Index (CPI). This amount has been determined by independent market valuation.

The Shire is inviting public comment to be made to the Shire of Katanning in writing or by email at admin@katanning.wa.gov.au on or before 4.00pm, Friday 25 September 2026.
