Shire of Katanning

It is intended to make a Shire of Katanning Dogs and Bush Fire Brigades Amendment Local law.

Purpose

To:

1. Amend the Shire of Katanning Dogs Local Law 2025 to:
   3. Correct references to other clauses in clause 3.14(1)(d)(ii);
   4. In clause 5.1, in the definition of ‘infringement notice’, replace the reference to clause 5.3 with a reference to clause 5.4; and

• In Schedule 1, at the top of the form replace ‘2022’ with ‘2025’.

1. Amend item 1.1(2) of the First Schedule of the Shire of Katanning Bush Fire Brigades Local Law 2025 by replacing ‘[insert name of local government]’ with ‘Shire of Katanning’.

Effect

The local laws are amended.

The proposed Local Law may be inspected at the Shire of Katanning offices at 52 Austral Terrace, Katanning during normal office hours or on the Shire’s website at www.katanning.wa.gov.au .

Submissions may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Katanning, PO Box 130, Katanning WA 6317 by 4pm 25/09/2025.
