LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 5

 

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Katanning has prepared the above-mentioned planning scheme amendment for the purpose of:

Rezoning Lot 154 on Deposited Plan 222684 (No. 58) Cornwall Street, Katanning from ‘Enterprise’ zone to ‘General Industry’ zone.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been deposited at 52 Austral Terrace, Katanning, and can also be viewed on the Shire’s website athttps://www.katanning.wa.gov.au/publicnotices/

Submissions on the proposal can be emailed to admin@katanning.wa.gov.au or posted to the Shire’s Chief Executive Officer at PO Box 130 KATANNING WA 6317 by no later than Thursday 16 April 2026. Submissions should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission and details of the property affected.

To ensure community concerns and aspirations are fully understood and considered, the Shire’s Town Planner Adrian Nicoll is available to explain the scheme amendment and answer any questions.
