Stories for Generation 2050

The following is from the Road Safety Commission:

We hope that by 2050 death and injuries on our roads will be 'a thing of the past'.

Stories for Generation 2050 is about capturing the difficult experiences people have faced today and in the past. It aims to educate and showcase how far our community will have advanced by the year 2050, with improved roads and new technology in the vehicles we drive.

To help create a safer future, we need; your stories, experiences or thoughts about road trauma. Whether you are someone who has experienced a car crash, are a vulnerable road user (cyclists, pedestrians, motorcyclists), a medic whose been at the scene of an accident or have advocated for road safety. We want to share your story with others in hopes to achieve our goal of zero deaths and injuries on our roads.

The stories will be placed into a time capsule and set to be opened in the year 2050.

This project is the first of its kind in Western Australia and we encourage everyone to participate.

To share your story please fill in the form linked here or write a letter and email it to us at storiesforgeneration2050@rsc.wa.gov.au
