The Shire of Katanning has implemented additional precautionary health measures at our Shire Administration facility.

In the interest of maintaining good hygiene and public health, alcohol based hand sanitiser is provided at the entry point to the Shire Administration.

Further to this measure, and in line with best practice guidelines for social distancing from Tuesday 24 March 2020, customers are to wait in the foyer area (between the main entrance doors and internal reception area) for a free space at the counter before entering.   

Patrons and customers are required to sanitise their hands on entry, prior to attending service counters. 

We remind all customers that they should not attend Shire offices if they are feeling unwell or experiencing any flu like symptoms.

It is worth noting that any Shire related transaction can be made by credit card over the phone and that Department of Transport enquiries can be made by calling 13 11 56 with the ability to pay accounts online at https://www.transport.wa.gov.au
