At the 26 November Council meeting, the Outbuilding – Local Planning Policy and the Temporary Accommodation – Local Planning Policy were adopted.
The Outbuilding Policy provides essential information to assist the Council in making an informed decision regarding the approval of outbuildings (sheds and including shipping containers).
The Temporary Accommodation Policy provides essential information to assist the Council in making an informed decision regarding living in a caravan, for up-to 24 months, whilst building a home.
The policies outline key expectations for developers regarding the necessary requirements to be included in a development application. Additionally, the policies aim to foster community confidence by ensuring a transparent and thorough decision-making process.
