Counting of votes for the Local Government elections commences at 6pm this Saturday across the State. 

If you haven’t posted your voting pack back to the WA Electoral Commission yet then it may be too late for Australia Post to get it back to the Commission depending on where you live. The alternative is to take your voting pack to Shire of Katanning offices and deliver it yourself, to ensure that your vote is included in the counts and you can have your say. It is also important that you remember to sign the declaration envelope containing your ballot paper in order for it to be accepted. 

The Shire of Katanning Administration and Civic Centre will be open this Saturday 19 October 2019 from 8.00am to 6.00pm.
