The Shire of Katanning is currently working to meet the State Government’s requirements for reopening of facilities.  This includes the development of COVID 19 Safety Plans which are required to be completed for both the Leisure Centre and Library, prior to re-opening.

Community and staff safety will continue to be our priority.  We are also making modifications to our venues (such as screens, barriers and signage) to ensure safe environments for all.

We are taking a staged approach to reopening our facilities and will not be reopening the Leisure Centre or Library until our plans and modifications are finalised.

The Katanning Leisure Centre is working with Sporting clubs, to implement systems as they also have their own responsibilities under the COVID 19 Safety Plan.

The Shire will continue to update the community on our plans via our social media and website.
