The Shire of Katanning has an Audit & Risk Committee that advises on matters of financial accountability and internal control. Council has an exciting opportunity for an independent member to join its Audit & Risk Committee and is calling for applications from people who may be interested in the position. The position is for a three-year period commencing in 2019. 

The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge and experience in the operations of a medium sized local government organisation and an understanding of financial, management, reporting and governance practices. An inquiring mind and the ability to analyse information will assist in carrying out this role.
