A fire fighting unit with a minimum 400lts of water needs to be in place for all slashing of blocks in the event a fire starts from the activity.
The Fire Danger Rating should be taken into account before slashing blocks and under no circumstances can slashing be carried out when a Total Fire Ban or Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban has been declared.
