The Shire of Katanning advise that Open Burning Season has commenced as of Sunday 1 May 2022.

Residents do not require a permit to burn but are reminded that it is your responsibility to ensure the fire is contained and controlled at all times.

Please check the current weather conditions prior to commencing any burn, and as a courtesy notify your neighbours.
