Cr Liz Guidera was re-elected by Council as Shire President for a further two year term at a Special Council Meeting held on 22 October 2019.  Cr John Goodheart was re-elected as Deputy President at the same meeting. 

Cr Guidera and Cr Goodheart were re-elected to Council at Saturday's Local Government Elections along with returning Councillors Cr Serena Sandwell and Cr Martin van Koldenhoven, and newly elected Cr Mark Stephens.

All newly elected Councillors took the Oath of Office before Mr Doug Cherry JP at a swearing-in ceremony prior to the Special Council Meeting.
