Community Citizen Of The Year Nominations – Open 1 September 2022

The Community Citizen of the Year Awards provide an opportunity to acknowledge those making an outstanding contribution to your local community during the current year (2022) and all award winners are announced at the 2023 Australia Day Breakfast.

Nominations can be made for contributions/community service to education, health, fundraising, charitable and voluntary services, business, sport, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of a community.

Nominations are for the following Citizen of the Year Award categories:

  • Community Citizen of the Year
  • Senior Community Citizen of the Year (65 years or over)
  • Young Community Citizen of the Year (under 25 years)
  • Active Citizenship (Community Group or Event)

Nominations for the 2023 Community Citizen of the Year Awards open on September 1 and will remain open until October 31. These can be submitted at www.citizenshipawards.com.au/nominate

Nominations will also open for the Shire of Katanning's Community Long Service Award and forms are available at www.katanning.wa.gov.au/awards.
