The Western Australian Electoral Commission has officially declared the results for the 2025 Shire of Katanning Local Government Election. 

We welcome our newly elected Councillors: 
• Kristy D’Aprile 
• Danny McGrath 
• Gemma Trolove 

These representatives will serve the Katanning community alongside continuing Councillors John Goodheart, Ian Hanna, Paul Totino & Matthew Collis 

The Shire extends sincere thanks to outgoing Councillors Cr Liz Guidera & Michelle Salter for their dedication, service, and valuable contribution to the Katanning community. 

Newly elected Councillors will be sworn in for a four-year term at the Special Council Meeting on Wednesday, 22 October at 5:00pm, which will also include the election of the Shire President and Deputy President. 

Congratulations to all candidates who nominated for this important role in shaping the future of Katanning.
