PUBLIC NOTICE

In accordance with section 7.12(A)4(a) of The WA Local Government Act 1995, The Shire of Katanning is required to prepare a report addressing any matters identified as significant by the auditor in the audit report and stating what action the local government has taken or intends to take with respect to each of those matters. The report is also required to be sent to the Minister of Local Government within 3 months of receipt (7.12(A)4(b)) and published on the Shire’s website (7.12(A)5) within 14 days of sending the report to the Minister.

The report was prepared and considered at the Council’s Audit and Risk Committee meeting of 21 December 2023 and can be accessed here.
