Harmony Festival

Media Release

Based on the statement made by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, today Friday 13 March 2020, including information that mass gatherings of 500 people will be banned from Monday 16 March, the Shire of Katanning advises that all 2020 Harmony Festival events are now cancelled.

Harmony Events, including Friday Food Night and Saturday Festival are both cancelled due to advice relating to mass gatherings.

The Shire has also taken into account community concerns and are aligning our activities with the Health Authority advice to maintain the currently low and slow spread of this illness.

Our first priority is the safety of everyone including attendees, our staff, all event stakeholders and members of our local community.

There is no plan, at this point, to reschedule the Harmony Event in 2020.
