NOTICE OF PROPOSED PERMANENT ROAD CLOSURE

LAND ADMINISTRATION ACT 1997

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 58 of the land administration act 1997 of the Shire’s intention to close portion of Round Drive, Katanning.  The section of road is east of the Katanning Country Club ‘entry gates’ through to the common boundary of Lots 3 and 4.

The request for road closure has been sought by the Katanning Country Club.  Plans showing the proposal are available for inspection at the Shire of Katanning Administration 16-24 Austral Terrace during office hours and on the Shire’s Website.

Members of the public are invited to comment on the proposal by forwarding written submissions to the Chief Executive Officer lodged by close of business on Friday 21 April 2017.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL PROPERTY

LOT 512 DAPING STREET KATANNING WA 6317

In accordance with Section 3.58 of the Local Government Act, 1995 the Shire of Katanning proposes to sell land situated at Lot 512 Daping Street, Katanning for the consideration sum of $30,000 to Gregory Webb as Trustee for the Herman Trust of Katanning Logistics 76-78 Daping Street, Katanning WA 6317.  The Market Value of the property was assessed at $20,000 on 18 January 2017.

Written submissions in regard to the proposed sale are to be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer and Lodged by Close of Business on Friday 31 March 2017.
