Owners, Tenants & Managers

If your property is Heritage Listed, then the requirements of part V of the Town Planning Scheme No. 4 apply. It is likely that Development Approval would need to be obtained for major works (other than for general maintenance and appropriately sensitive repair).

The Heritage Protection requirements set out in Schedule 2, Part 3 and Part 9 Clause 67, in particular criteria k – n of the Planning and Development [Local Planning Scheme] Regulations 2015 may also apply.

Buildings in Austral Tce (from the Clive St/Roller Flour Mill to the King George Hostel/cnr Albion Street) are within a listed Heritage Precinct; It is Place No 1338.  Alterations, signage and new works will generally require Development Approval.
