Water Corporation and their authorised contractor Benang Energy Infrastructure, will soon begin work to replace 2.2 km of pipeline in Katanning. This work will increase the reliability of water supply in the area.
Works will commence Monday 22 May 2023 and will progress to completion in stages over six to eight months, between the Pemble Street pump station, near Hassell Street, and Kojonup-Katanning Road. For a detailed map of the work area, please refer to the project website.
Who will be impacted and how?
- Properties on Pemble Street's southern side will have reduced access to their verges and driveways, however, will be notified before any works impacting access begins.
- Road closures and local road detours will be required during this period.
- Residents may notice some increase in noise, dust, and activity in the area.
