A reminder that it is illegal to collect firewood from reserves in the area. Whilst the vast majority of people do the right thing, it’s important to remind the public that collection of firewood from reserves is prohibited, patrols are being done in the area and those found taking firewood could receive a heavy penalty.

Additionally, the illegal collection of firewood from our reserves impacts on native wildlife and birds as it destroys natural habitat.
