While the Shire is responsible for the overall management of rubbish collection and the local rubbish tip, both of these services are contracted out via negotiated agreements. The Shire encourages businesses and residents to recycle wherever possible and a recycling service is also contracted out.

Rubbish Tip

The tip is located on the east side of town on the Katanning/Nyabing Road, approximately 5 kilometres from the CBD.

Opening Hours

The tip is open Monday - Friday from 8.00am – 5.30pm; Saturday & Sunday 12.00noon - 5.30pm.  Closed Good Friday and Christmas Day.
