The Katanning Aquatic Centre is open for the 2011-2012 season. Come down and enjoy our:

The pool season runs from the start of November until the end of March.

Swimming Lessons and Programs

Infant and Toddler Swimming Lessons will be revisited in 2012

Women's Only Swimming Session & Lessons

As a part of our Cultural Inclusion Program, and building on last year's success, a two hour session has been set aside at the pool where only women and children will be present. The lifeguard and swimming instructors will also be female. Every effort will be made to ensure visibility is minimized.

The pool will be open every Sunday morning from 8am to 10am (except March 4th and 11th) for women only.

Cost is regular pool entry: $4.50 adult, $3.50 children

Katanning Aquatic Centre Swim School

These semi-private swimming lessons for girls and boys aged 6-13 years of age are great to help kids who are not yet ready to participate in In-Term swimming lessons. These sessions will give kids an age-appropriate group to work with and qualified instructors will help build their water safety knowledge and confidence in and around water.

Sessions will run on Wednesdays from 4-6pm and bookings can be made through Jenny Cristinelli on 0427 251 159.

Spaces are limited and this program will run as a trial.

Aqua Aerobics Classes

Aqua Gold

A 45 minute gentle water based fitness class for those aged 50 and up, or those new to exercise, recovering from injury or not comfortable in deep water. This class will stay in the shallow water, so no swimming experience is required.

• Aqua Gold will run on Mondays and Fridays from 2:30-3:30pm.
• Cost: Pool Entry plus $2.
• Starts Friday 11th November. Last class of 2011 on Monday 19th December.
• Recommences Monday 9th January 2011 and will run as long as the weather permits.

Kerry's Aqua Boot Camp 

A vigorous 60 minute wet-and dry workout at the pool.  It's a great way to cross-train, especially for triathletes. A fun way to get fit!

• Aqua Boot Camp will run on Friday mornings from 6:30am
• Cost: pool entry plus $6 payable to Kerry
• Starts Tuesday 8th November

Memberships can be purchased at the Pool by cash or cheque (sorry no EFTPOS facilities available), or at the Shire Offices or Katanning Leisure Centre by cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
